Guy Prehn is a treasure. I was buying in a very difficult sellers' market. Guy used his expertise and wealth of experience to help me find a condo that had more features than I expected in my price range, and to succeed in placing the winning bid. After signing the contract, Guy guided me through the process of buying, which is more complicated in California and in my case had more pitfalls than I expected. As a Realtor myself (albeit in Canada), I did my research before choosing a local Realtor to assist in the sale of my investment property in Palm Springs. Guy (and a couple of other Realtors) came recommended as the expert for the area and I gave him a call and we chatted for about 30 min and he answered all my questions and outlined his marketing plan and his experience and knowledge. My unit was also still occupied with a tenant when we were listing the property for sale. Guy did an amazing job, coordinating viewings in a condensed time frame to create more interest and not disturb the tenant too much. This all resulted in a competitive situation (bidding war) and we achieved one of the highest sales in the complex, and way above our expectations. Needless to say, I was extremely happy. Guy was there for the inspections, the walk-throughs, arranging appointments around the tenant's schedule, (all of which I know from experience can be challenging), and made the whole transaction easy. Guy was prompt with his responses, (something I value and appreciate), and kept me informed throughout the whole process. I can highly recommend Guy as a Realtor of choice and it was a pleasure working with another professional.

I’ve never really been impressed by a realtor, until Guy. We met Guy at an open house and had an immediate rapport. And although we weren’t quite certain of our real estate timeline, Guy showed genuine interest in our search and from the start, he was engaged, informed, and genuinely helpful. Over the next few weeks, he showed us several properties in our dream neighborhood and demonstrated a phenomenal grasp of the neighborhood and market. Rather soon, we went through an offer process on a property where we couldn’t come to terms with the seller, and Guy handled it expertly. He never pressured us and fully supported our price point and negotiation stance while dealing with a very difficult seller. When we realized this property would not work, we were content just to wait for other opportunities, but Guy was motivated to find a better solution and he sent a mailer out to all homeowners in the neighborhood we wanted. It was a great initiative, but we were skeptical this would work but brother did it. He showed us a much better house within a week than never hit the market but was available due to his mailer. The house had much more square footage and was in an even better location. It was a dream come true, and a direct result of Guy’s knowledge and proactive approach. Within days we had a really good deal. And even though Guy was in the potentially challenging position of representing both the seller and us as buyers, his advice was always sound, unbiased, and in our interests. During escrow, Guy was extremely communicative and exceeded expectations to make it an incredibly smooth transaction. We are very grateful to have found Guy and I enthusiastically and wholeheartedly recommend him.

My husband and I sold a condo and bought a condo using Guy’s services – within a few months of each other. Because the condo we were selling was expected to be a difficult sale -- unusual condo restrictions required an all-cash sale-- we expected that this would be stressful and time-consuming it wasn’t. Guy and his team were diligent – they held an open house almost every weekend and marketed the property aggressively. Not only did we sell it in a short time frame, but we sold it furnished and made a good profit. The condo we purchased was in the exact location we had been targeting and it was a reasonable price. I was tasked with settling a relative’s estate and selling the property long-distance. I’m on the east coast and my property was on the west coast.
